Munschtime! at YPT April 17-May 14, 2017
Fun fact: Of all his 90 + books, Robert Munsch is most proud of Love You Forever. And it remains a staple in many homes; it’s well-worn pages smudged with tears. Whenever you need a good sob or a snuggle, this one ranks up top. So be warned, there may be a few wet eyes (from parents) during Toronto Young People’s Theatre‘s Munschtime! performances.
That said, most of Munsch’s books are on the boisterous side, so expect these live performances (adapted from Munsch’s stories) geared to some of the youngest theatre-goers (aged 4-8) to quite upbeat. The show also includes other beloved Munschian favourites including Murmel Murmel Murmel (about an unconventional story about adoption), Pigs, A Promise is a Promise, and Too Much Stuff!
These lively adaptations come to life on the YPT mainstage from April 17th to May 14th, 2017, and are sure to delight young theatre-goers.
Special Performances
There will be two ASL Shadow Interpreted Performances for hard of hearing kids. And if you aren’t sure whether the kids can handle the stimulation, they also two Relaxed Performances ideal for sensitive and ASD children.
