Ed’s Real Scoop


Handmade and quality ingredients are what sets Ed’s Real Scoop apart from many other ice cream shops. Original flavours like toasted marshmallow and lemon meringue keep kids and adults coming back for more. Expect a line up on hot summer days, but it is worth the wait.

Dutch Dream

Reputed to be Drake’s Favourite ice cream spot, the kitschy Dutch Dream is also a bit of an institution now at a newish location. Their cones and cups are laden with goodies for an extreme ice cream experience. Berries, cotton candy, chocolate and nut dipped waffle cones and 60 creamy flavours.

Greg’s Ice Cream

Located in the heart of the city, Greg’s Ice Cream has been making people happy with their all-natural ice cream for over 30 years. Stop by and pick up a cone or a cup of your favourite flavour or better yet, try something new (roasted marshmallow anyone?). Located a few short blocks from the Royal Ontario Museum.

Sweet Jesus

Taking instagrammable ice cream to a whole new level, this outrageously over-the-top ice cream shop is a must-go, at least once anyway! Think cotton candy, marshmallows, chocolate crunch toppings in a rainbow of hues, textures and tastes. Don’t forget to snap a pic.

The Big Chill

Stop in this Little Italy shop for delicious ice cream and fresh made waffle cones. The retro ice cream parlour will delight kids of all ages. Be sure to explore all the shops and cafes in Little Italy.

Summer’s Ice Cream

Always fresh and always made in small batches this Yorkville institution has been serving up ice cream for almost 30 years. The perfect spot to stop and cool down on a hot summer day in the city. Take your ice cream across the street to the Village of Yorkville Park a green space in the heart of the city.

If you keep travelling west along the Lakeshore in south Etobicoke, you’ll find Scoops n More where you’ll enjoy premium Kawartha Dairy ice cream.

Sweet Olenka’s

A favourite stop in New Toronto, you can grab a scoop or two and walk down to the lake for a gorgeous view of the city. The menu changes all the time so be ready to spend some time figuring out what flavour is right for you. Lots of vegan options are available.
