On Sunday July 22nd, Yonge and Dundas Square will be taken over by the annual Youth Day summer festival. Youth Day is a summer festival  designed for young people to enjoy and experience. Think dancing and singing in the heart of the city!  Youth Day celebrates the next generation of young artists in music, dance, art, photography, fashion, and film.

What to do in Toronto: Youth Day 2018

Music: Youth Day will shut down Yonge Street with 2 fully packed outdoor stages. Music and dance performers will be entertaining visitors all day and night long. This year’s featured performers include: Azim Roy, 32 Canadian Brigade, Youth Day EPK and more!

Art Gallery: The Youth Day Gallery has evolved over the years and now includes a wide variety of artistic medium and styles. Visitors will be taken in by the diversity of art on display. Artist will be showing interactive pieces, live art, photography, 2D and 3D art, all created by youth.

Dance: The excitement and energy of Youth Day carries over to the dynamic dance performances. Both solo performers and dance troupes will be featured through out the day. There will be over 100 performers taking to the stages.

Beyond the music, dance, art and film components of Youth Day, the festival is also about youth participants developing skills, gaining new knowledge and working with peers and mentors on the many events that surround Youth Day.
