Earth Hour is an international event that brings awareness to global climate change. March 25, from 8:30-9:30 pm will be the 10th annual Earth Hour. The simple act of turning off the power for one hour has united 15 million Canadians each year. Green 13’s 6th Annual Earth Hour Candlelight Walk
The Junction neighbourhood will be celebrating Earth Hour with a candlelight walk along the Humber River. Walkers meet at the historic Lambton House and light up their candles and lanterns. The walk will wander along the Humber River and end back at Lambton House. Refreshments will be provided following the walk.

5th Annual Earth Hour Lights Out
Bring your candles and lanterns to Kew Gardens for an evening of music and festivities. This family friendly event starts at 7:30 pm in the Kew Gardens bandstand in the Beach neighbourhood. The park will be filled with live music and candlelight as visitors celebrate Earth Hour.

10th Annual Earth Hour in Vaughn
Bring your lantern and join in an evening of fun, entertainment, and tips on how you can #ChangeClimateChange. There will be entertainment and prizes, free candlelight yoga and a night cycle ride. Check out the electric vehicles and learn more about this sustainable mode of transportation at the EV Roadshow. Making an environmental pledge on our lightbulb wall.
